Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide routine nursing care in line with policies and supervisor directions. You will help ensure the highest quality resident care, working closely with the Charge Nurse and Director of Nurses as needed.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, ID verification before care, bed making, keeping areas clean, and maintaining water availability, while adhering to safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed or enrolled in a nursing assistant program.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good health and emotional stability to care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator.
• Make beds and maintain bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and available to residents.
