Job summary

Will-O-Bell is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to assist residents with basic care under the supervision of a nurse. This role requires adherence to policy, attention to safety, and strong communication with the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, turning and positioning, measuring vitals, reporting changes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while respecting residents' dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold current Texas Certification for Nursing Assistants.
• Compassionate, mature, sympathetic and professional at all times.
• Good organization and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
• Candidate will have the physical ability to perform job-related duties, which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist elders with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Keep call lights within reach and respond promptly.
• Take and record vital signs and report variations.
• Turn/position residents every 2 hours and check/change briefs as needed.
• Assist nurses and other staff, transport supplies, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
