Job summary

Great Plains Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident's care plan. You will identify residents before procedures, document accurately, and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse.

The role requires ensuring a warm, safe environment, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining compliance with privacy and safety policies. CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents as per care plans.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristband/photo card.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and introduce them to roommates and staff.
• Assist with preparing residents for medical tests and procedures.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and confidentiality rules.
