Job summary

Great Plains Health is seeking a Weekend CNA to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents per their assessment and care plan. You will follow established policies and assist with daily living activities, documentation, and communication with nursing staff.

The position requires an active CNA license, ability to read and follow care plans, and CPR is preferred. Weekend shifts may include some physical tasks and lifting, with emphasis on compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA license.
• CPR preferred.
• Ability to read and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before care using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries clearly in logs and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of health information.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as directed.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and treatments as required.
• Move and transport residents safely within the facility.
