Job summary

Grandview Post Acute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans. You will verify resident identity, document care, and report changes to the supervising nurse.

The position requires a CNA license, the ability to read and follow care instructions, and a commitment to resident dignity and safety. CPR certification is preferred, with emphasis on teamwork within the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or services.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident room readiness and personal care as needed.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Respect resident privacy and protect health information.
