Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team with the resident as the director of their own care, assisting with activities of daily living and documenting care in the clinical records.

Qualifications

• Missouri: Current CNA certification.
• Illinois: Current CNA certification.
• Pennsylvania: Enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of the training program, on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL care; answers call lights and reports observations to the nurse.
• Supports personal care needs and fosters resident dignity by encouraging independence.
• Observes residents to identify changes and reports to the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists residents during meals and feeds those needing full assistance.
• Builds relationships with residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care provided in the clinical records.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
