Job summary

PACS is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaborative teamwork within a nursing unit.

The CNA will identify residents, assist with activities of daily living, monitor skin integrity, and report any changes to supervisory staff. CPR is preferred; confidentiality and professional conduct are required at all times.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CNA certification and be licensed in the state.
• High standard of patient care with attention to safety.
• CPR is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristbands.
• Record accurate notes and flow sheets clearly.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with activities of daily living as trained.
• Observe and report skin integrity and risk of ulcers.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and transportation as needed.
