Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily living activities, document care and vitals, and maintain confidentiality. CPR preferred and state licensure required.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nursing staff, accurate charting, and adherence to facility policies to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CNA license per state regulations.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 10th grade education minimum.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Record entries on flow sheets, charts, and notes accurately and descriptively.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report suspected disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care as instructed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, temperatures, pulses, and respiration per procedures.
