Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision, following facility policies and procedures. You will assist with daily living activities and monitor residents to maintain comfort and safety.

The role involves resident rounds, accurate identification before delivering care or meals, basic nursing tasks, bed-making and maintaining clean, well-stocked bedside areas.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Sincere desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisors.
