Qualifications

• Requires CNA license and certification.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be in good general health with emotional stability.
• Able to relate to and work with ill, disabled and elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at the start of shift and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or service.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within residents' reach.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor or administrator.
