Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate certified nursing assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision in a care facility. You will follow established policies to maintain high-quality resident care at all times.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, patient identification verification before care and meals, and bedside housekeeping. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to support ill, elderly, and disabled residents with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months' CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh water and within resident reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
