Job summary

Responsibilities include specimen collection, stocking the nursing area, maintaining skin integrity, and assisting with admissions, discharges, and call lights. Requires BLS and GED/HSED or high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and positioning with assistive devices.
• Measures and documents vitals (BP, TPR, I&O, weights) in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN; assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintains stock, cleans equipment, and supports patient transport and positioning.
• Supports skin integrity and uses infection prevention practices.
