Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily nursing care to residents in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. You will support ADLs, monitor plans of care, and maintain a safe and compassionate environment on the unit.

The role requires a CNA credential in good standing and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. On-the-job training and a team-focused workplace are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA in good standing on Ohio registry required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident and patient care per nursing procedures and as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for each resident or patient.
• Assist with ADLs including hygiene, elimination, comfort, mobility, nutrition and hydration.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care as needed.
• Observe and report skin breakdown and pressure areas.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required and provide restorative procedures.
• Create a warm, personal environment and respond promptly to calls.
