Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety, while accurately documenting in patient records and reporting vitals and changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care related support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety under Charge Nurse guidance.
• Document patient information into the chart per guidelines and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output.
• Complete rounds, respond to call lights promptly, and assist with resident transfers and positioning.
• Ensure proper equipment and supplies are available and maintained; report needs to Charge Nurse.
