Bethesda Health Group is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation and safety under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

You will document patient information and assist with admissions, rounds, and routine care. Applicants should have an active CNA certification, CPR, and a preference for long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required for the state you will be working in.
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Document appropriately into patient records and charting per guidelines.
• Complete admission tasks and orient new residents to the facility and unit.
• Take vital signs and weights and report findings promptly.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs in a timely manner.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and equipment as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and complete documentation accurately.
