Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety under the direction of the Charge Nurse. You will document patient information, take vital signs, and orient new residents to the facility while maintaining compliance with standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities include rounds, responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and ensuring proper equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state you will be working
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care related support per established guidelines
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and weight
• Orient new residents and ensure arm band and admission kit
• Take call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
• Assist with transferring and moving patients and handling equipment
