Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient care across hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety. You will document measurements and observations in patient records under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.

You will participate in admissions, orient residents, respond to call lights, and perform rounds, with emphasis on safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a multi-patient care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within six months.
• High school diploma preferred for entry.
• Long-term care experience preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety as directed.
• Record vitals, intake/output and relevant data in patient records.
• Orient new residents to facility and unit; ensure wristband and admission kit are provided.
• Perform rounds, respond to call lights promptly and assist with transfers and repositioning.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, notify nurse of needs and document shift reports.
