Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide patient care and support across hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse. You will accurately chart, admit new residents, take vital signs, weights, and orient residents to the facility, ensuring comfort and safety throughout shifts.

You will respond to call lights, complete rounds, and assist with transfers and repositioning, maintaining proper lifting techniques and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule for productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety as directed by Charge Nurse.
• Document accurately into patient records per guidelines and complete admission steps.
• Take vital signs, weights, and orient new residents to the facility.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs; perform rounds as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and safety while using proper lifting techniques.
