Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is hiring a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 24 hours per week in Chicago, IL. Shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend and rotating holidays per site scheduling.

You will assist RNs with basic patient care, document vital signs, and support admissions and discharges under supervision. Requirements include BLS certification within 45 days and state Nurse Aide registration in good standing.

Competenze

• GED or High School equivalency required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.

Mansioni

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and transfers.
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output; documents in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates patient observations to RN.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
