Job summary

Advocate Health Care seeks a Nursing Assistant for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital on the 7CE unit. This part-time role supports RN care, including bathing, feeding, mobility and vital signs, while documenting in the EMR with supervision.

The position involves admissions, transfers, discharges, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. GED/HSED or high school diploma and BLS are required; Nurse Aide in good standing preferred. Benefits eligible and supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Performs vital signs, intake/output, daily weights, and documentation in EMR.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Communicates observations and patient needs to RN promptly.
• Maintains patient safety, cleanliness and stock in nursing area.
