Job summary

Good Samaritan in Blackduck, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, meals, and mobility under RN supervision, while following care plans and infection control policies.

This is a full-time, night-shift role with a 36-hour work week. Certified Nursing Assistants receive facility training, ongoing competency requirements, and access to benefits including health, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification within four months of date into the position; training provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist transfers, positioning, and mobility with proper technique.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; support daily living activities.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Support infection prevention and PPE usage compliance.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
