Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, transfers, and mobility under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting care, following infection prevention protocols, and supporting well-being and comfort for residents. Applicants may be certified or in progress; wage reflects entry to experienced CNA levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
• CNA certification or enrollment in CNA program is required for the role.
• Maintain required certifications and complete annual competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and mobility.
• Record vitals and report changes to the charge nurse; support infection control practices.
