Job summary

Weston County Health Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Long-Term Care. You will provide essential, hands-on care to residents, respond to call lights, assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and document accurately in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes.
• Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to handle after-hours shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to patient call lights and assess needs.
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Turn, reposition, and assist bedridden patients per care plans.
• Support nutritional needs by following dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Observe changes in condition and report to nursing staff.
