Job summary

Amedisys in Newark, Delaware is seeking a full-time hospice aide to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor health status, and support families while ensuring safety and comfort in the home setting.

Must have a current CNA license with recent experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Pay is $21–$23 per hour, with benefits including PTO, health plans, retirement options, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• CNA license with recent clinical experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to patients.
• Observe and report changes in patient status.
• Assist with meals, homemaking, and mobility.
• Follow plan of care written by a registered nurse.
• Perform uncomplicated urine tests as directed.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises.
