Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a hospice aide to deliver compassionate personal care in patients' homes across the Pender, Bladen, and Hanover counties.

The role is full-time, daytime hours, and requires CNA certification with CPR. You will support patients with activities of daily living, meals, and mobility while documenting changes and coordinating with the nurse to implement the care plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CNA certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• CNA experience within the last two years is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with meals, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to plan of care and written instructions from the RN.
