Job summary

Family Life care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team. As a CNA/HHA at Family Life care, you will play a vital role in helping our patients by providing compassionate and professional care in the comfort of their own home.

You will have the opportunity to choose from various assignments, such as long-term care or assisting with recovery from an injury or illness.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license or 75-hour HHA certificate required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Current TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass Level II background check.
• Previous home health care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently.
• Working smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Perform patient observation to monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and cognitive engagement.
