Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have active CNA license.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, etc.).
• Observe and document resident health and report changes to the nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident needs via call signals or intercom.
• Promote resident safety and infection control practices.
• Communicate with nurses regarding resident conditions and concerns.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship and resident comfort.
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements.
