• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities (lifting, transfers, bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking, meals, vital signs).
• Observe and document residents' health, behavior, and condition; promptly report changes to the nurse.
• Respond to resident call signals and determine needs.
• Promote safety and infection control; maintain clean, safe environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Communicate with nurses on resident conditions, changes, and concerns.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship, comfort, and support to residents.
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements.
