Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Orange, VA is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care under supervision, including ADLs, vital signs, and documentation in the chart. The role requires compassion for elderly residents and strict adherence to safety and infection-control policies.

The successful candidate will report to the Charge Nurse and Nursing leadership, participate in meals and activity support, and maintain patient comfort and dignity.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, staff and families
• Patience and a positive attitude toward elderly residents
• Creative thinking for problem solving in daily care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care as defined by the job description and as directed by supervisor
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, toileting, mobility
• Record vital signs and care notes in EMR or paper chart per policy
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and environments
• Follow safety, sanitation and infection-control procedures
• Welcome new residents and engage in activities and conversations
• Attend in-service training as directed by policy and regulations
