Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a qualified Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care across daily living activities in a Virginia facility. You will report to the Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, and Director of Nursing, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for residents.

This role requires Virginia Nurse Aide certification, strong communication, patience, and a compassionate attitude toward the elderly. In-service training and teamwork are emphasized in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work with elderly residents with empathy and respect.
• Willingness to participate in in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility to maintain comfort and safety.
• Record vital signs and document care in EMR or paper charts.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Report changes in condition or incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain clean and safe resident rooms, reduce clutter and hazards.
• Engage residents in activities and conversations to promote well-being.
