Job summary

Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA, is seeking a CNA for Oncology on a full-time day shift at the Esplanade Campus. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with patient care, transport medications, and coordinate tasks to support the care plan.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate technical competence and sensitivity for hospitalized patients and families.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in nursing unit or hospital environment desirable.
• Completion of Neutropenic Precaution and Radiation Safety Module within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the RN, provide patient care and assist with nursing procedures as defined.
• Transport non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy.
• Coordinate special tasks and assist the nurse to support the medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
