Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under an RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification (or in process within four months), a high school diploma or GED preferred, and a minimum age of 16. Expect 24 hours weekly, daytime shifts, and a focus on infection prevention and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 and prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meals.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ROM exercises.
• Participate in infection control and PPE usage per policy.
• Provide psychosocial support and help with recreational activities.
