Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care plan under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility, while following infection control policies and PPE guidelines. This role supports a team focused on compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing; or enrolled in training to obtain certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, feeding, and range of motion.
