Job summary

Kindred Hospital Dallas Central and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a specialized LTACH/ARU setting. You will implement nursing plans, collaborate with physicians, and participate in discharge planning to support recovery and safety.

The role emphasizes thorough assessment, timely interventions, and effective communication with care teams.

Qualifications

• RN knowledge of nursing care and patient assessment.
• Ability to plan and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and staff.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients and families on pain management and discharge needs.
• Communicate clinically significant changes to Physicians, Supervisors, and nursing staff.
