Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California seeks a dedicated nursing assistant to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to ensure the highest quality resident care.

You will perform rounds, verify resident identity, and support daily living activities while maintaining compassionate, respectful interactions with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work harmoniously with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within resident's reach.
• Other duties as directed by supervision.
