Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Concord, CA, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the guidance of the Charge Nurse and Nursing Directors. You will help ensure the highest quality resident care in a compassionate environment.

The role requires a valid CNA license, English fluency, and a sincere desire to serve the ill and elderly. You will perform resident rounds, assist with daily living activities, and follow facility policies to support a safe, dignified stay.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CNA license and be in good standing.
Excellent communication and empathy when interacting with residents.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

Perform duties per facility policies and procedures.
Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours.
Verify resident identity before care or meals.
Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within resident reach.
Report issues to Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator.
