Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is hiring a Licensed Nursing Assistant to ensure residents receive compassionate care in line with their care plans. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, safety, and hydration, while documenting all observations and following infection controls.

Ideal candidates have LTC experience, complete NABC or state-approved CNA training, and maintain good standing in the state registry.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and determine resident needs.
• Check residents unable to call for help frequently.
• Provide direct resident care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Explain procedures to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, transporting residents.
• Provide incontinent care and dress appropriately.
• Notify supervisor if clothing needed.
• Change bed linens; handle linens per infection control guidelines.
• Feed residents needing help and document intake.
• Deliver snacks and supplements; ensure hydration.
• Record all care as directed.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings.
• Adhere to Residents' Rights guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
