Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team to promote a safe, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include feeding assistance, maintaining hygiene, recording intake/output, and participating in care planning. Previous CNA certification and CPR certification required; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• Maintain CPR Certification.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Currently attending a CNA class working toward certification.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.
• Good communication skills with patience and self-discipline.
• Genuine caring for the elderly and disabled in a nursing facility.
• Adhere to Resident’s Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
• Perform tasks within the required physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care of residents daily and as needed.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food intake.
• Assist with meals and transport to dining room.
• Maintain COVID-19/Facility safety and aseptic techniques.
• Attend in-service education and orientation sessions.
• Support nurses in plan of care development and execution.
• Protect residents from neglect and maintain confidentiality.
