Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Sanford Health serves residents in a long-term care setting during the evening shift, delivering resident-centered care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support dining, mobility, and hygiene needs in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications include CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and ability to work every other weekend/holiday with ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, range of motion, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and activity participation.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to RN.
