Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is hiring a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role includes daily tasks, documenting care, and maintaining a compassionate, respectful environment.

Flexibility with schedule and CPR/First Aid certification are required. The position offers full-time hours, walk-in Wednesday events, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care or PCA or CNA certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with the Resident Care Director about changes in care.
• Assist with mobility using proper techniques and equipment to prevent accidents.
• Make routine rounds to ensure residents' needs are met per care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves and transport using proper body mechanics or equipment.
• Maintain skin integrity by assisting with higiene and continence care.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Provide responses to inquiries from residents, visitors and staff.
• Familiarize with individual care plans and support accordingly.
• Contribute observations to care planning process.
