Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities, implement care plans, and document services. The role requires empathy, teamwork, and a commitment to residents’ dignity and safety.

Flexible weekend availability, CPR/First Aid willingness, and appropriate certifications are valued as part of a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve; prior experience not required.
• Ability to fulfill physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Direct-Care certification or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Aligns with Commonwealth Senior Living's mission.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with care directors.
• Aid residents with mobility and use proper techniques to prevent accidents.
• Conduct routine rounds per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts/moves using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain skin integrity and manage incontinence care.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervisors.
• Respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff.
• Familiarize with care plans and support accordingly.
• Contribute insights to care planning and resident preferences.
