Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily tasks, follow care plans, document services, and contribute to a homelike, respectful environment.

A compassionate demeanor and teamwork are essential in delivering quality senior care. This role requires CNA or HHA certification, CPR/First Aid readiness, and flexibility, including weekends.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate care changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment to prevent accidents.
• Make routine rounds to ensure needs align with individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervisors and respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff.
