Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with activities of daily living and encourage independence.

You will document care, report incidents to the nursing team, support activity programs, perform light housekeeping, and assist with meals, transfers, and emergencies. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to promote independence.
• Conduct activities and provide meaningful experiences for residents.
• Document care and report incidents to appropriate nursing staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist with meals and dining.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities; respond to calls and emergencies.
• Assist with transfer of residents and maintain proper body mechanics.
