Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memphis community on a part-time basis. The CNA will provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living, while encouraging independence and participation in community activities.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a caring attitude. You will work as part of a nursing team, follow policies, and document appropriately.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the state where the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Contribute as a member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and considerate toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Encourage residents to maintain independence and participate in community activities.
• Plan and conduct activity programs to provide meaningful experiences.
• Report incidents and document accurately in the daily log and clinical records.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies and remain calm during incidents.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities and monitor attendance at meals and events.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow all policies and procedures.
• Assist new residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Communicate resident status and updates to the team and families as directed.
