Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the state where the community is located.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely lift and transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate persons and document appropriately.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance and emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and transfers to staff and family as directed.
