Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Glenwood, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and maintain dignity and comfort in a supportive clinical team.

The role requires current CNA certification, CPR, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds; long-term care experience is preferred. You will document observations, respond to call lights promptly, and uphold HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification per state law.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding and hydration between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility policies.
