Aliya Healthcare in Glenwood, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and turning.

Qualifications

• Must hold state CA CNA certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a CNA, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all regulations and guidelines and stay current through CNA certification.
