Sanford Health in Saint Ansgar, IA is hiring Nursing Assistants (CNA) for day shifts. Scheduled weekly hours are 36 with a compensation range of $17.00 to $25.50 per hour and a $3,500 sign-on bonus eligible.

The role involves resident-centered nursing care, daily living assistance, vital signs, and coordination with the nursing team under an RN. Strong infection control and documentation are required.

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
• Annual continuing education requirements and competency testing are required.

Mansioni

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding.
• Record vital signs and report changing resident condition to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion exercises.
• Participate in infection prevention and PPE usage and maintain cleanliness.
