Job summary

Sanford is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts in Mandan, ND. The role delivers resident-centered care under RN supervision in long-term care, including daily living activities, vital signs, and documentation.

The position offers a 40-hour work week with 8-hour day shifts. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $25.50 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Must have CNA certification and meet state requirements for eligibility, with a supportive health team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required by state; certification in progress acceptable.
• Complete 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• If applicable, registered with UAP Registry.
• Some states may require Sanford driving responsibilities and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Record and monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Support transfers, mobility, and safe walking using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nourishment; help maintain dining experience.
• Provide housekeeping, laundry, and overall residents’ comfort.
• Document interactions and participate in infection prevention and care plans.
