Job summary

MEMORIAL in is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision. You will greet residents, identify them before procedures, and assist with daily activities to ensure comfort and safety.

You will document care, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and help with transfers and mobility while maintaining confidentiality and a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CNA license.
• CPR preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plan.
• Identify residents before assisting with treatments and meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor.
• Record entries accurately on charts and flow sheets.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and positioning of residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
• Protect residents' privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and check on needs.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
